FAQs

So, you come to my house to give the massage?

That's right. Calm Nourish Thrive is a completely mobile massage business. Your therapist will come to your home, set up, perform the massage then leave you to get on with your day.

How far do you travel?

Treatment prices include travel within 10km of Boronia, VIC. If you're unsure whether you live too far away, please contact us before booking and we'll be happy to help! 


In most cases extra travel can be arranged for a fee (this will vary on a case by case basis).

I can't find a time that suits me

Please send through a text message or online enquiry form for your preferred day/time of massage and we will respond asap.

What do i need to supply?

Your therapist will bring everything required for the treatment.  This includes the table, linen, music, oils and payment facilities. 


If you a pregnant it is recommended you have a pillow handy for your head.

What should i do to prepare?

All we recommend you do is have a space clear enough for the table to fit and a warm room for comfort.

i'm a first time client, do i need to do anything special?

All first time clients must book in an "initial consultation" treatment. You therapist will set up, discuss your history, perform assessments if necessary and establish a treatment plan and then the massage will proceed.


You will also be sent a client intake form via email. Please keep an eye out for this and complete it prior to your treatment. 

what does my treatment cost include?

Your treatment time and cost includes time to set up, pack up and take payment.


Due to the nature of mobile treatments, please allow 10 minutes on either side of your booked treatment time for your therapists arrival.

do you offer private health insurance rebates?

Yes! 


All Calm Nourish Thrive treatments are eligible for private health insurance rebates. Make sure you tell us at your appointment and an invoice will be supplied to you for you to claim.

can you massage children under 18 years old?

Yes! 


Tahlia holds a valid Working with Children's Check allowing her to massage persons under 18 years of age.

how can i pay?

Cash, card or bank transfer are all accepted forms of payment.


Your therapist will bring a card reader to all appointments for eftpos transactions.

i've purchased a gift certificate, what happens now?

You will receive your gift certificate electronically to your Paypal email address.  Please allow 24 hours for the gift certificate to be sent.


Please note: gift certificates are only valid within the Calm Nourish Thrive travel radius. Extra travel may incur additional fees. Any questions, get in contact with us.

what is your cancellation policy?

  • Need to cancel or reschedule? Make sure you let us know as soon as possible via text, phone or email that you need to cancel or reschedule your treatment.


Please note: 

  • ALL cancellations/reschedules within 24hours (day before) your scheduled treatment time incur a $75 fee.
  • All no shows or cancellations the day of treatment will be charged the full treatment price
